Make these simple, cheesy pizza bombs using pre-made biscuit dough. They are perfect for game day, parties, or a quick, satisfying snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (16.3 ounces) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup mini pepperoni slices
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. Separate the biscuit dough into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands or a rolling pin to create a thin circle.
  3. Place about 1/2 teaspoon of pizza sauce in the center of each flattened biscuit.
  4. Top the sauce with a small amount of mozzarella cheese and 2-3 pepperoni slices.
  5. Fold the edges of the biscuit dough up and over the filling, pinching the seams tightly to seal the filling inside, forming a ball.
  6. Place the sealed pizza bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and dried oregano. Brush this mixture evenly over the tops of the pizza bombs.
  8. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and puffed.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • For a crispier exterior, you can brush the tops with an egg wash instead of the garlic butter mixture.
  • If you do not have mini pepperoni, you can chop regular pepperoni slices into small pieces.
  • You can prepare these pizza bites ahead of time; store them covered in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours before baking.
