  2. Spread the cheese mixture evenly into a serving dish.
  3. In a separate small bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, fresh basil, minced garlic, olive oil, and balsamic glaze. Mix gently.
  4. Season the tomato mixture with salt to your taste.
  5. Spoon the fresh tomato mixture evenly over the top of the cheese base.
  6. Drizzle any remaining olive oil or balsamic glaze over the top for presentation.
  7. Chill the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
  8. Serve your bruschetta dip cold or at room temperature with toasted crostini or crackers.

Notes

  • You can prepare the cheese base one day ahead and store it covered in the refrigerator. Add the tomato topping just before serving.
  • For a warm dip option, bake the cheese base at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes before topping with the fresh tomato mixture.
  • Substitute Boursin with a blend of feta and cream cheese if desired for a tangy flavor.
