You need a quick, crowd-pleasing snack for your next gathering. This easy fruit dip uses cream cheese for a creamy texture and comes together fast. It pairs well with any fresh fruit platter.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk (optional, for thinning)

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese into a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until it is completely smooth and fluffy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
  3. Gradually add the sifted powdered sugar to the cream cheese mixture, beating on low speed until incorporated, then increase speed to medium and beat until smooth.
  4. Mix in the vanilla extract until combined.
  5. If the dip seems too thick for your liking, add milk one teaspoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  6. Serve immediately with fresh fruit, or cover and chill for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

  • For a slightly lighter dip, substitute half of the cream cheese with plain Greek yogurt.
  • You can add a pinch of cinnamon or a teaspoon of lemon zest for a flavor variation.
  • This dip tastes best when served cold alongside apples, berries, grapes, and pineapple slices.
