Bake tender chicken breasts coated in a rich, creamy garlic parmesan sauce for a simple, flavorful weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle the chicken with olive oil.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until combined.
  4. Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken breasts, making sure they are well coated.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit and the sauce is bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  7. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.

Notes

  • For extra texture, sprinkle 1/4 cup of panko breadcrumbs over the sauce before baking.
  • If you prefer a lower carb option, this recipe works well without breadcrumbs.
  • This dish reheats well for lunch the next day.
